Hey everyone! It's been more than two decades since I last built a PC, and I'm getting back into it now that I have some free time for recovery after a hospital stay. I'd love your feedback on my build! Here's the link to check it out: https://be.pcpartpicker.com/user/lamberreke/saved/88WF4D. Thanks in advance for any suggestions you might have!

If your budget allows, upgrade to a more powerful GPU! Something like the 9070 XT or 5070 would really enhance your gaming experience, especially for newer titles. Just make sure to balance it with a decent motherboard that won't limit your performance later on.
You might want to reconsider that x870 and the PCIe 5 SSD. If you're on a budget, switching to an AMD Ryzen 5 9600X could give you better performance without breaking the bank. The Phantom Spirit cooler is also a fantastic budget option for air cooling. When it comes to storage, don't feel like you need a Samsung – there are alternatives that will serve you just as well without the premium price. Plus, a lower wattage power supply around 750W would be sufficient for your needs, freeing up some cash for other components. I even threw together an alternative build for you to check out: [PCPartPicker Part List](https://be.pcpartpicker.com/list/P4xbzP). Good luck!
Nice suggestions! I think focusing on getting a solid GPU makes a lot of sense here.
Definitely grab a CPU cooler, like the Peerless Assassin. It’ll give you the best bang for your buck. Also, switching your RAM to a 6000MT/s kit would be beneficial, especially for compatibility with AMD setups. About the motherboard, if WiFi isn't a must-have for you, consider saving some cash with cheaper options. For SSDs, there are good alternatives under €120, so don’t overspend there either. Any savings could be invested in a 9060 XT 16GB, which would be a game changer!
Hey! Just a tip, but an 8GB GPU might not cut it given today's games. Most AAA titles are going to require more VRAM. If your main goal is to play older games, it might work, but I’d recommend eyeing a 16GB RX 9060XT or an Intel Arc B580 instead. You might also want to check out cheaper B650 motherboards that offer similar features. Lastly, you might not need such a powerful power supply; something around 550W would be plenty for your build.
Totally agree! The 9600X is a great choice, especially for gaming. I’d also suggest considering a 5060 Ti for an NVIDIA option instead of the 9060 XT if you’re open to that.
