Hey everyone! I've just jumped into the world of distro hopping and made my way to Nobara, which is based on Fedora and uses KDE Plasma. So far, everything's going smoothly with my installation! Since I'm still getting familiar with KDE and the Fedora environment, I'm looking for advice on what applications work best with Nobara. Are there any recommendations for alternatives to standard apps like the file manager or terminal? Thanks a bunch!

For file management, Dolphin is pretty solid, so I'd recommend sticking with it unless you want to try something like Yazi, which is terminal-based but requires some learning to use effectively. As for terminals, I’d suggest checking out Kitty, Wezterm, or Foot. They all have tons of customization options for productivity. But if you're not a heavy terminal user, there's probably no need to swap it out.
