I just opened my laptop after a couple of days not using it, and now it shows that I'm not connected to the internet. Even worse, the Wi-Fi icon is completely missing from the taskbar, so I can't choose any networks. When I try to go into the 'Network and Internet' settings, the settings app crashes. I've already restarted my laptop multiple times, but nothing has changed. I'm not very tech-savvy, so I'm really at a loss on how to fix this. Any suggestions?

Just a heads-up, your Wi-Fi card is the hardware that allows your laptop to connect to wireless networks. So, checking if it's functioning correctly in Device Manager is a good step. If you're not sure how to do that, I can help explain!
First, you might want to check Device Manager to see if your Wi-Fi card is listed there. If it's there, make sure the drivers are working properly. If there's a yellow warning icon next to it, you'll need to update or reinstall the drivers to get it working again.
