Laptop Wi-Fi Connection Issues: Help Needed!

My little brother's laptop has been struggling to connect to Wi-Fi for a while now. Most of the time, it just won't connect at all, and I often have to restart the network card multiple times to get it to work. I've reinstalled the drivers several times, but that hasn't helped either. I'm considering doing a clean Windows reinstall to see if that fixes the issue. If anyone has tips or solutions, I would really appreciate it! Just for context, the network card in the laptop is a Realtek RTL8852BE WiFi 6 802.11ax PCIe Adapter, and the router is a D-Link DVA-5593z.

First off, can you confirm what type of router you're using and any details about the laptop's network card? Those details can really help narrow down the issue!
