I've been using a basic PC for quite a long time, and it's really struggling with gaming—like, I can't even get League of Legends to run smoothly at more than 30 FPS. I'm thinking about whether I should try to upgrade the parts since I don't even know what's inside, and it seems like everything is outdated. There's a part of me that wonders if it would be better to just get a completely new PC and maybe try building it myself this time. Is it a good idea to upgrade my current setup, or should I just wait and buy a new one?

Honestly, I don’t think it's worth upgrading if the specs are that low. Old hardware can limit performance, and with your setup, you might only end up frustrated. It might be a better investment to save up for a new system that meets modern gaming demands.
Before deciding, it would really help to know the specs of your current setup. Upgrading can sometimes bring life back to an old PC, but if most components are outdated, it might not be worth it. Starting fresh with a new build could give you a better long-term experience, especially for the games you're interested in.
