I'm really stressing out here because I've locked myself out of my iPad. I completely forgot my password, and I feel like such an idiot for letting this happen. Can anyone help me figure out how to get back in?

You could also check the support page specific for iPads. They'll guide you through the steps to reset it. Just try to remember your passcode—it's usually the simplest solution!

I'll do my best to remember! But if not, that reset option might be my only way out.

If all else fails, try to see if you can remember the password! It’s worth a shot before you reset everything.

Okay, I'll give it a shot. Thanks for the suggestion!

You should consider resetting your iPad. Just keep in mind that you might lose all your data if you don’t have a backup. Next time, try to remember your passcode! Here’s a link with more info on how to do it: support.apple.com/119858.

I was actually trying to back up my device, but I didn't have the right cable. I borrowed a USB-C to USB-A cable, and of course, I need to unlock it first to make it work. Thanks, Apple!
