I'm interested in building a gaming PC and I have a budget between $500 to $1000. I can handle the building part myself, but I'm looking for advice on components that can run most games at 1080p with 60+ fps. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

You should be able to find some solid parts for your budget. You can start with a Ryzen 5500 and a Radeon 6600 XT; that setup can handle most games at 1080p 60 fps. Check out this build guide on [PCPartPicker](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/P7J7Jn) for a good starting point!

Don't count out the used market! Many gamers are upgrading to the latest components, which means you can get some great deals on older parts. Keep an eye on Facebook Marketplace; you might strike gold for your build!

Honestly, for under $750, you might be better off considering a console like the PS5. If you're set on a PC, I suggest going for an AMD 5500 paired with a 6600 XT. That combo should give you solid performance; it'll occasionally bottleneck, but you'll still hit that 60 fps mark for most titles.

If you're looking for a good example, I built a PC recently for around $850 using the AMD Ryzen 7 8700G. Here’s my part list:
- Ryzen 7 8700G
- Asus PRIME B650-PLUS
- Corsair Vengeance 32GB DDR5
- 2TB WD Black NVMe SSD
This setup runs great for 1080p gaming! Check out the full list [here](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/x3xFnp).

Thanks for the suggestion! Would it perform better if I picked a cheaper CPU and put more money into the GPU?
