I'm completely new to PCs and I need help finding a gaming setup that fits within a budget of $500 to $700. Any suggestions on components or where to look are greatly appreciated!

Check out Facebook Marketplace or eBay for great deals! I spotted an awesome HP 8700G with 32GB of RAM for just $425. Combined with a GeForce 4060 for about $200, you'd have a solid beginner gaming rig that can handle most games at 1080p on high settings!
If you're not in a rush, you might want to wait for the Steam Machine release, but honestly, it's hard to say how much that's going to cost. In the meantime, you can definitely build a decent PC for this budget!
I recommend building your own rig. For around $700, you can grab a used 5700XT GPU for about $150 and an i5-12400 processor for $130-$150. Couple that with an Asus TUF B760-Plus motherboard and 16GB of DDR5 RAM, and you'll be looking at a fantastic setup. Don’t forget to budget for a power supply, storage, and a case! You can still game on 1080p at ultra with this build!

Lol, the original poster would totally fit in as the target audience for that!
