Hey everyone! I'm currently working with a Ryzen 5 5600X CPU and 64GB of DDR4 3200MHz RAM. I'm using a 3060 12GB graphics card but planning to upgrade to a 5070 RTX soon. I'm on the hunt for a high-quality motherboard that won't break the bank, ideally under $900 AUD. Any suggestions?

If you're sticking with the AM4 platform, you could get a solid board for your 5600X. But since you're planning to upgrade to AM5 later, I'd suggest looking at options like the Gigabyte B650M Gaming WiFi, which is around $149. That way, you can future-proof your build!
Yeah, but if you're just playing games, the current AM4 setup might be enough for a while.
If you do decide to switch to AM5 now, I found a bundle including a Ryzen 5 7600 for about $800 overall. It’s a solid choice with good performance. Just remember, you might want to invest in faster RAM down the line!
Definitely look into faster RAM. It makes a big difference in performance, especially with gaming!
Also, consider the cooling solutions. They can affect performance too, especially with higher-end CPUs.

But do you think it's worth getting a whole new AM5 setup for $800? Seems like a good investment!
