I'm on the hunt for a website analytics tool that can track some basic information without needing cookie consent. I've heard of Plausible, but I'm curious if there are other options out there. Any suggestions?

I’ve used Goat Counter on a few websites, and nowadays, I lean towards using hosting features from platforms like Vercel or Netlify for that purpose.

You might want to look into Posthog. They have a bit of a pop-up about cookies that hints you might not need consent, but it’s not crystal clear. Just something to consider!

I recently opted for Umami for a project I'm working on, and it’s been pretty good so far!

Plausible is definitely a solid choice! You might also want to check out Umami, which can be self-hosted and is quite similar to Plausible. Those are the main ones I’ve used and liked.

We run Fathom in my agency. I think our subscription is around $500 a year, and we track about 50 sites. Works well for us!
