Hi everyone! I'm in search of a free or open-source Mobile Device Management (MDM) solution for Android that can make certain apps non-removable. Here's a bit of background: We own a small grocery store, and I've installed an invoicing app that the cashier can use to send invoices via WhatsApp easily. Recently, I had to let go of a cashier who was dishonest, using the excuse that someone uninstalled the app to cover up money being stolen. To avoid this issue with the new cashier, I want to ensure the app can't be uninstalled. Just to clarify, this is on a business-owned device, not a personal phone. Any recommendations would be super helpful—thanks in advance!

Have you checked out Fully Kiosk? It's a solid option for locking down devices. It lets you restrict access to specific apps and is pretty user-friendly. Definitely worth a look!
You can try using a tool like Android Kiosk. It allows you to lock down devices to a single app and even set it up as a launcher. You’ll need some technical know-how since it's web managed, but it definitely prevents unwanted uninstalls. Plus, it requires a password to exit the app, which adds an extra layer of security!
