I'm on a tight budget and need to find a decent gaming PC for around £520 or less. I'm not too tech-savvy, but I've been checking out various deals. However, I'm often finding that the CPUs included in those builds are pretty poor. I mainly play games like Fortnite and Minecraft, as well as other titles similar to those on the PS5. I've got a PS5 and I'm eager to transition to PC gaming for better performance and a wider game selection. Also, I'm looking for at least a 1TB SSD and I want the performance to match or exceed that of a PS5.

Honestly, a chunk of your budget will go towards RAM and the SSD itself, which doesn't leave you with much leftover for other components. You might not have a lot of choices here unless you’re willing to compromise.
It's going to be tough to meet all your requirements within that budget. You might need to reconsider your expectations or even think about selling your PS5 to boost your budget a bit. That could open up some better options for you!
