Looking for a Good Used Upgrade from My Old 1060 Graphics Card

I'm getting back into gaming after a break and currently have a Ryzen 5 5600X CPU, 16GB of RAM, and a pretty outdated 1060 6GB graphics card that I bought used a while back. I'm hoping to find a better graphics card at CEX for under £200 since I'm on a strict budget. New cards are too expensive for me, and I'm not comfortable buying from places like eBay or Facebook Marketplace. Any recommendations?

I feel you on the 'ancient' tech! The RTX 5050 is within your price range and would offer a solid performance bump from your current card. Definitely worth a look!

I just Googled the RTX 5050, looks promising! Thanks!

A 10-year-old card is basically a dinosaur at this point! Even the RTX 2000 series seems old now.

Good news for you! The rest of your setup should handle any decent used card from CEX without being a bottleneck. They currently have the RTX 3060 12GB for around £200, and if you stretch your budget, the RTX 3070 at just a bit more would be awesome for 1080p and even high 1440p gaming.

They actually have a 3060 Ti available around that price too!

If you're open to new options, the Intel Arc B580 could be a great choice. I've seen it priced around £200 and it has 12GB of VRAM, which is a nice upgrade from the 1060.

Have you checked what power supply unit (PSU) you have? Honestly, eBay can be just as safe as buying from retailers since they offer buyer protection. Just make sure you're careful about what you're bidding on!

I've got a Gigabyte P650B PSU, so I think I'm good in terms of power.
