Hey everyone! I've got a pretty old PC with an AMD Athlon II 160u and 6GB of RAM that I'm trying to bring back to life. I've tested a bunch of distros, but some like Linux Mint and Lubuntu didn't work out well because of graphics issues. Right now, I'm using MX Linux, and while it's running, I feel it's a bit sluggish for smooth browsing. I'm hoping someone can suggest a better distro that might help boost performance, especially for web browsing.

Just keep in mind that browsing the web today can be quite intensive. It’s not just the distro; modern websites and browsers have high demands, which might still be a bottleneck.
Honestly, that CPU is from 2010, and even basic browsing has gotten more resource-heavy since then. You might want to look into some lightweight distros, but just a heads up—modern demands might still be a stretch for your old laptop.
Have you tried Bodhi Linux? It’s pretty lightweight and might work well for you!
If you're looking for something really light, I’d recommend antiX 23.2 with runit. It strikes a nice balance between usability and minimalism. Don't forget to tweak some desktop settings to make your experience smoother!
I’d suggest checking out Linux Lite. It’s designed to be user-friendly and runs quite well on older hardware. You can find more info on their site: [Linux Lite](https://www.linuxliteos.com/explore.html).
