I'm searching for a Linux browser that can handle split screen tabs, similar to how Microsoft Edge does it. Vivaldi offers a feature to tile two tabs together, which is a step in the right direction, but I'm running into issues with fullscreen and picture-in-picture not hiding the taskbar, which I find really annoying. Additionally, I've been experiencing a bug with Vivaldi that prevents me from selecting tabs or using keyboard commands until I restart the browser multiple times. I've also tried looking for extensions for Firefox and Google Chrome/Brave that might replicate this split tab functionality, but haven't had any luck. I'm using Lubuntu, so if anyone has suggestions for browsers or extensions that could help, I'd really appreciate it!

I use Zen for Linux, which has a split screen feature as well. However, it's still in beta, so it might have some bugs and doesn't support DRM content yet. If you're okay with that, it could be a good option!
Have you tried using Microsoft Edge? It's available on Linux now! You can download it through Flatpak from Flathub. Just be aware that it's a bit of a wrapper from who knows where, so it might not have full support from Microsoft. But it could be worth checking out!
I tried Edge on Linux and found it to be decent. Just keep in mind that it might not feel as stable as other native browsers.
Yeah, I've heard that Edge is deeply embedded in Windows, making it hard to remove. It’s interesting to see how it performs in a more flexible environment like Linux.
