Looking for a Linux Distro for Gaming and Programming

Hey everyone! I'm on the hunt for a Linux distribution that suits my needs. I primarily use my computer for gaming and programming, and I love to customize my setup. I tried PopOS on my notebook, but I wasn't impressed due to some screen issues. Currently, I'm testing out Linux Mint with Cinnamon, but it's still not quite right for me yet. I haven't had a chance to play games on it yet, but I mainly play titles like Call of Duty from Blizzard, Steam games, and Minecraft. I understand that for playing Minecraft, I might need to use a virtual machine with Windows since I also run a server with Radmin VPN. I'm open to learning any distribution, as long as I can avoid too many errors and have a smooth installation process. Any recommendations?

CachyOS with KDE is really nice, super customizable, and it's designed for gamers and high-performance use. Definitely worth checking out!

What do you think about Nobara KDE? Do you think it would be a good fit?

For Minecraft, you can actually play the Java edition right on Linux using either the Minecraft launcher or Prism Launcher! What issues are you running into with your current setup? That might help us point you toward a better distro. Keep in mind, you can customize any distro to fit your needs—if you like the Ubuntu style in Mint, you could add a Gnome desktop environment. Also, for Epic games and GOG, try the Heroic launcher; it really makes things easier. Battle.net can be tricky, but lots of people have success using Lutris or Bottles with Proton. Mint and Pop!_OS are solid choices overall—do you have any specific features you're looking for?

I'm aiming for something stable that won't break easily, especially for gaming, programming, video editing, and 3D modeling. I've heard mixed things about Nobara KDE and openSUSE Tumbleweed with KDE from chatGPT, but I'm not sure which one to go for.

Here's a table chatGPT provided that compares them. I hope it helps! [Table Link](https://imgur.com/a/XTDPMGT)
