Hey everyone! I recently switched over to Linux and started with Mint, but it hasn't been the best fit for me, especially because of the Wayland situation. I've been recommended Fedora with KDE by a friend, which I think looks promising. I'm also curious about other non-Debian distros out there. My notebook is a Dell Inspiron 14z, and eventually, I will need to use Wine for college projects. Any recommendations?

Honestly, the distro is less important than the desktop environment you choose. Do you prefer GNOME or KDE? There's a lot to explore in both!
You might want to check out Ultramarine Linux or Nobara; they’re both great options that have a solid community support. Plus, they come with helpful features.
I think I'd like KDE. I did some digging, and it seems more appealing to me.
