Looking for a Prebuilt PC Under £550 for Gaming and Streaming

I'm planning to ask for a PC for Christmas and I'm hoping to find something under £550. I really want to be able to play Fortnite in both performance mode and high graphics smoothly, as I'm a competitive player. Additionally, I want to stream using OBS, do some homework on Google, and play a few other games. What specs should I be looking for in a prebuilt PC? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Make sure to check out local classifieds or websites for used PCs. That’s really your best bet if you're looking to spend under £550. Just remember, you might need to sacrifice some performance – like maybe not streaming while gaming – but it'll be worth it if you find something decent!

I've had some luck with refurbished units too! Just make sure to buy from a reputable seller.

You may want to aim for something like this Ryzen 5 setup I found online, but I think the CPU may struggle a bit with streaming while gaming. If that's a concern, consider investing in a capture card and using a second PC if you can swing it; it makes streaming a whole lot easier!

Honestly, getting a decent prebuilt for £550 that can handle Fortnite at 100 FPS+ on high settings while also streaming is going to be quite a challenge. You might want to look into a CPU with at least 8 cores and a GPU like the 2080 or 3060 if you can find it for around £180. A 1070 could be an option too if you're okay with potentially upgrading it later; you could find that for about £80. Just a heads-up, these prices are mostly for used components, so it might take some hunting!

You might also want to keep an eye on the second-hand market. Sometimes you can find great deals if you’re patient! And don’t forget to check out local listings.
