Looking for a Recommended Music Player for Linux

Hey everyone! I'm on the hunt for a music player that works well with Linux. I've tried a bunch already, but none of them have really hit the mark for me. I primarily listen to long DJ sets, so I really need a player that can remember where I left off after closing it, instead of starting the set over from the beginning. It would also be great to have a nice design—maybe with a few different style options to choose from. Any suggestions?

You could check out **Strawberry** or **Audacious**. Strawberry has a modern and clean interface, supports various formats, and it remembers where you left off, which is perfect for those lengthy DJ sets. Audacious is lighter and customizable, allowing for multiple skins and themes while also resuming playback from the last position. Another option is **Clementine**, which also has a good reputation for remembering the last played location and has a good amount of customization. If you're into sleek designs, maybe look into **Tauon Music Box**—it has a modern feel and does a great job of remembering playback positions. Hope this helps!

Just a heads up, Strawberry is actually based on Clementine, which isn’t maintained anymore. The person who keeps Strawberry going takes care of the Windows and Mac versions too, so if you like the Linux version, consider supporting him on Patreon!

I've been using Clementine too! It was just the first player I stumbled upon, but it works fine for me.
