Hey everyone! My family's computer drive is starting to fail, and I need to replace it with a SATA SSD. It absolutely must be SATA! I'm really paranoid about reliability and would love to find something that won't fail right after I receive it. Ideally, I'm looking for at least 400GB, preferably around 500GB, and it should cost no more than $40 since I'm on a tight budget. I'm not even sure if such a drive exists, but I'd really appreciate any recommendations. Thanks!

You might want to check out the Crucial MX500 or Samsung 870/860 Evo if you're okay with spending a little more. Also, look for any 2.5 inch SATA SSD at your local computer shops, especially ones with a DRAM cache for better performance. Worth exploring!
