I work for a non-profit organization using Yealink phones that connect via the internet. We need a standalone ringer to hear when our phone rings in some areas of our building, but we don't want to answer the phone in those spots. I'm convinced there's a device that can do this, but I haven't had any luck finding it. Most of what I come across are ringing amplifiers or lights designed for people with hearing impairments, which aren't what we need. Ideally, I'd like something that can be discreetly placed out of sight, like under a cabinet. Any suggestions? Thanks!

You might want to check out the Philmore LKG Phone Light Flasher & Ringer on Amazon. It's quite popular for situations like yours!
From my previous job experience with Yealink phones, the VOIP system used there had the option to configure which incoming numbers would ring on which phones. You could ask your IT department if they can tweak any settings to help with your situation.
That's good to know! We can definitely do that, but we're still looking for a solution that rings without having an actual phone to answer.
You might look for something like the Western Electric 592A. They're often found at thrift stores or garage sales and could connect to the analog FXS port on your system if you have the right setup.
You're probably right, but I suspect you'll need an ATA since I doubt you have any analog ports. Then it would need to be assigned the same DID in your phone system.

The model I found seems to need connecting to the phone itself and works more like an amplifier with lights. What you need is something standalone to place at a distance where there’s no phone.
