Hey everyone, I'm on the hunt for a reliable and fast SSD to use as my primary drive. I'm hoping for something in the 1-2 terabyte range, ideally priced around $100 or even less if possible. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

You might want to check out the SK Hynix 2TB drive on Newegg. It’s around $120, which is a pretty good deal for a 2TB TLC drive with DRAM cache!

I think a lot of SSDs will do the trick, but you really do get what you pay for. Crucial makes a solid choice in that price range, and the new Samsung Evo Plus is also worth considering.

I live close to a Microcenter, and I'm using a 7800X3D bundle with an ASUS ROG Strix B650-A motherboard. I was initially set on the Crucial P3 Plus 1TB, but I was advised against it for a primary drive since it's kind of slow. People say it's okay for a secondary drive though.
