Looking for a User-Friendly Linux Distro for Work

I'm currently using Nobara, but I've hit a snag while trying to upload files - dragging from Dolphin to the browser just won't work! I need a Linux distribution that's really straightforward and doesn't complicate simple tasks. It should be X11-based since I want to run espanso smoothly. Plus, I need it to support NVIDIA graphics. Any recommendations for a distro that fits these requirements?

I've been using Mint for work for years without any need for major changes. It's a bit of a 'boring' choice, but it’s reliable for day-to-day tasks. If you're looking for something a bit different from Cinnamon, you might want to check out the Mate or Xfce versions.

Have you tried Pop!_OS? It's based on Ubuntu and has great support for NVIDIA drivers. Plus, it includes Flatpak support to fill in any gaps with software. Just a tip: if you're used to Windows, try dragging your files to the taskbar first before moving them into the browser. It can help with the drag-and-drop issues you mentioned.

Most distros use X11, so you're in luck! I’d suggest trying out any Ubuntu LTS version or one of the Ubuntu-based distros. Mint is a solid option and really user-friendly. It's got a good reputation for just working out of the box, which sounds perfect for what you're looking for!

Xubuntu could be a great fit for you! It uses X11 and works perfectly out of the box. If you want something easy that doesn’t require much tweaking, this might be your best bet.

MX Linux is another good runner-up. It uses X11 and comes with a bunch of tools right out of the box. It's very stable and works well with various systems. I’ve had a good experience with it on multiple machines.
