Looking for Advice on Building My First Gaming PC

I'm diving into building my first gaming PC after years of only using laptops, and I want to create a solid rig that can handle 1440p gaming and do fairly well at 4K. I'm planning to buy the parts over the next few months and am holding out for a great deal on a graphics card, likely a 5070 ti or 5080. I've put together a potential parts list and I'm curious about a few things: Are there any major incompatibilities I should be aware of? Are there any components that seem overkill? I'd like my rig to be durable and future-proof. Also, what are some good CPU cooler recommendations? They all look pretty similar—should I just go based on reviews? Lastly, if there are ways to save some cash without sacrificing performance, I'd appreciate those tips too. Thanks for your help!

Looks like you've got a good parts list! I didn't see any incompatibilities, so everything should work together. As for the motherboard, you probably don't need to splurge too much on it—there are solid options out there that won't break the bank. For CPU coolers, I'd recommend checking out Thermalright air coolers or the Arctic Liquid Freezer III AIOs; I've had great experiences with both. Also, you can find some cheaper 32GB RAM kits that are around 6000MHz CL30 if you shop around.
