Looking for Advice on CPU and Motherboard Upgrade

Hey everyone! I recently received a new GPU (the 5060TI 8GB) and I'm super pumped about getting better framerates in games like PUBG, Battlefield 6, and Call of Duty 7. However, I've been told that my current CPU is bottlenecking my performance. My motherboard is also pretty outdated and doesn't support the newer CPUs available. I don't have a lot of expertise in PC parts, so I'm hoping to get some recommendations from you all on which CPU and motherboard I should consider upgrading to. I want to keep my budget under $700 but I'm open to any ideas or advice you might have! Here's what I'm currently working with:

- GPU: 5060ti 8GB
- CPU: Intel i7-7770K
- Motherboard: EVGA 132-KS-E277 (Chipset: Intel Z270)
- RAM: 16GB x4 DDR4-3600 Corsair

If you’re looking for top performance, consider an x3D CPU. They’re currently king for gaming, outperforming a lot of others in both average FPS and that crucial 1% lows. Just make sure you’re not skimping on the motherboard or power supply; you want something reliable, especially if you’re planning on overclocking your system. That can go a long way in extending the life of your build!

How can I find out what power supply I currently have? I think I have a SeaSonic Focus GM-650.

Check out this recommended build I put together! It includes the AMD Ryzen 5 9600X, which comes out at about $193, a solid cooler for $35, and a Gigabyte B850 AORUS ELITE motherboard for just under $200. If you want an upgrade to DDR5, consider the Kingston FURY Beast RAM, which would give you 32GB of memory for around $134. The total comes up to about $561, so it fits well within your budget!

I’m not super tech-savvy either, but do you think it's worth it to switch to DDR5 even if it means losing some RAM?
