Looking for Advice on Motherboard Replacement for My Gaming PC

Hey everyone! I'm having some issues with my PC where it randomly fails to POST every other time I restart or power it off and back on. It's a bit of a hassle, but I've figured out that if I remove and reseat the RAM in a random order, it will eventually POST and boot up, which is really frustrating. If I just put it to sleep, it seems to work fine until it needs to auto-update and restart. I mainly use this PC for gaming, but I also dabble in 3D modeling and graphic design.

Everything seems to be working fine aside from this POST issue, and it feels like the motherboard might be the culprit since one of the RAM slots is tricky to reseat without feeling like I'm going to break it. I'm thinking of replacing my motherboard and I want to know if I should just go for the same one I've been using (an ASUS Prime Z690-P D4 with Wi-Fi), or if there are good alternatives out there. I'm looking for something compatible with an LGA-1700 socket and DDR4 RAM, similar to my current setup. The motherboard is kind of pricey online (about $276), and I'm not sure if that's just due to being a premium part or if it's hard to get since it's an older model. Would love to hear your suggestions or opinions! Is it reasonable to think the motherboard is causing my problems?

I feel your pain! It could definitely be the motherboard struggling to recognize the RAM properly. Replacing the RAM might fix the issue, but it's also significantly more expensive now. If none of the BIOS tweaks or volt adjustments work, then it might be worth looking at a new motherboard that supports the same RAM. I had a similar experience, and while I held off on replacing my RAM, I eventually switched the motherboard and it worked wonders.
