I'm about to build my first PC and would love some feedback on my chosen components. Here's what I've picked out so far:
**Power Supply:** Corsair RM1000x Shift (this is an old one I have)
**Motherboard:** MSI MAG B850 TOMAHAWK MAX WIFI or MSI B850 GAMING PLUS WIFI
**CPU:** AMD Ryzen 9800X3D
**Memory:** TEAMGROUP T-Create Expert 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000 CL30
**Video Card:** Sapphire PULSE Radeon RX 9070 XT 16 GB
**Cooling:** Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 SE
**SSD:** I currently have a Samsung 970 Evo plus and 870 Evo, both 1TB, and I'm not looking to get new ones yet.
**Case:** Phanteks XT PRO ULTRA
I'm not super experienced in building PCs, so I'd appreciate any advice on whether there are better options for any of these parts or if there are known issues with models I've selected.

Your part choices are generally good. Just make sure the Shift PSU will fit your case; Corsair advises that it works in cases wider than 210mm, and the Phanteks XT is around 230mm, so you should be fine. You likely won't need extra fans either; the four that come with the case will be more than sufficient. You could potentially save some cash by looking at similar components that are less expensive.
Overall, your selections look solid! If you're aiming for a lower cost, you might want to consider a more budget-friendly motherboard. The Tomahawk series is known for good quality and good value, so it could be worth keeping.
Could you suggest a specific motherboard? I originally wanted to go cheaper but don't know much about the alternatives.
It's important to choose components that fit your specific use cases. If you're mostly gaming, the Ryzen 9800X3D is a great pick! But for tasks like content creation that require more cores, you might consider something like the AMD 9950X instead.
I plan on mainly gaming, but I will do some work here and there.

Thanks for the tips! I noticed that RAM is on sale for €299 at one of my go-to stores.
