I'm about to order the parts for my new gaming PC, but I want to make sure everything is compatible and that I'm not overspending where it won't actually boost my FPS or overall gaming performance. It's been a while since I built a PC, so any tips would be greatly appreciated! My goal is to achieve smooth 1440p (2K) gaming while leaving room for future upgrades. I'm aiming to keep my budget under $3,000.
Here's what I've got so far:
- **Monitor:** LG - UltraGear 27" OLED QHD 480Hz (already owned)
- **CPU:** AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D (8-Core, 16-Thread, Zen 5, 3D V-Cache)
- **Motherboard:** ASUS ROG Strix B650-A Gaming WiFi (ATX, AM5, DDR5)
- **GPU:** ASUS TUF Gaming BTF White Edition GeForce RTX 5070 Ti 16GB GDDR7
- **CPU Cooler:** NZXT Kraken Elite 360mm RGB AIO
- **Case:** NZXT H9 Flow RGB+
- **Power Supply:** MSI MPG A1000GS PCIE5 1000W, 80+ Gold
- **RAM:** Corsair Vengeance RGB 32GB DDR5-6000
- **SSD:** Samsung 9100 Pro 2TB PCIe Gen 5 NVMe M.2
- **Keyboard:** Logitech G PRO X TKL LIGHTSPEED Wireless
- **Mouse:** Logitech G502 X PLUS LIGHTSPEED Wireless
Let me know what you think about this build!

I think you're on the right track! Your parts look solid for 1440p gaming, but you might consider swapping to an 850 board if you're really looking to go all out. Otherwise, you should be set for a decade! Just be prepared to upgrade your GPU in the future, but right now, this build is a solid 9.5/10.
Honestly, you might be overspending on a lot of these components. I found a similar build that costs much less and will still perform great. You could save quite a bit and even have some cash left over for upgrades. Here's a link to my build for comparison: [PCPartPicker Build](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/FMdFBq).
What made you choose the Crucial Pro RAM instead of the Corsair? Is it a better option in your experience?

Thanks! I'm going to check that out. It's crazy to see the price difference. I might be able to upgrade my list with those savings.
