I'm planning to build a new PC and I'm looking for some suggestions. For the CPU, I'm considering either the 7800x3d priced at $420 or the 9800x3d at $480. For the GPU, I'm looking at the XFX 9070XT 16 GB Swift which costs $720 for the white version. I'm thinking of going with Kingston Renegade 2x16GB 6400MT DDR5 RAM, and for the PSU, I'm considering a Deepcool 850W Gold 80 Plus. I'd like to use a B850M D3HP motherboard and I'm deciding between the Deepcool CH690 or the H6 NZXT case for everything. I'd love to hear your thoughts on whether this setup will be good for gaming at 1440p, and potentially 4k in the future with high refresh rates. Also, what kind of cooler would you recommend for either of these CPUs—air or water cooling? Thanks!

It looks like a solid build, but I’d recommend getting a better quality motherboard to avoid any issues down the line. For cooling, a good dual tower air cooler should work perfectly for either CPU. If you can, I’d say go for the 9800x3d—it justifies the price difference for performance.

Do you think upgrading from a 12400 and 3060 OC to this setup is worth it?
