I'm currently looking to upgrade from my 3070 8GB and have been considering the 5070. Are there any better options or recommendations out there?

I just made the jump to a 9070 XT from my 3070, and it's been amazing! The 16GB of VRAM feels like a way better investment than the 12GB on the 5070, especially since the 5070 Ti was a bit pricey for me. The 9070 XT offers a nice middle ground for performance and price.
The 5070 is definitely a decent step up from the 3070. If you can snag the 9070 at a reasonable price, that would be a fantastic choice since it offers 4GB more VRAM. Lately, I've seen some 9070 XT cards going for under $700, and those would provide significant improvements over the 5070 with 16GB of VRAM, basically equivalent to the 5070 Ti performance.
If you're aiming for a solid upgrade, I would recommend looking at the 9070 XT or the 5070 Ti at a minimum. Ideally, I'm looking for something that offers about double the performance of what I have now. You might want to consider waiting for supers or the next generation cards if you can hold off for a bit.
