I'm planning to build a PC with the following specs: Ryzen 5 8500G, MSI B650M Gaming WiFi motherboard, a 450W power supply, and 8GB of DDR5 5200MHz RAM. I want to add a graphics card later for better performance. What do you think of my current setup? What graphics card would give me the best performance without causing a bottleneck?

1. Don't stress too much about bottlenecking. It was a bigger concern years ago when CPU and GPU performance gaps were wider. Nowadays, even a budget CPU won't severely limit a high-end GPU.
2. If the price difference isn't too steep, consider upgrading to the 8600G for a stronger integrated GPU and better PCIe handling.
3. Have you thought about getting dual-channel RAM? It can significantly boost the integrated GPU's performance!
Do you already have these components? Also, what's your budget for the graphics card?
It's important to remember that no computer can achieve infinite performance; there's always going to be a bottleneck somewhere. With your Ryzen 5 8500G, I'd recommend at least considering the RX 9060XT with 16GB if you're looking for a solid performance upgrade, especially if you pair it with a 1440p monitor. However, I'd also suggest upgrading your power supply to at least 650W to ensure stability.

But I heard the 8500G only supports 8x PCIe lanes, what about the 16x PCIe pins thing?
