Looking for Alternatives to Framer for Building a Static Website Without Coding

Hey everyone! I'm completely new to coding but I've heard that it's possible to host a static website for free on GitHub. I've been exploring no-code options for building a website, but my search for free tools with decent animation features hasn't been successful. I stumbled upon Webstudio, but their animations are only available on a paid plan. I'm hoping someone here can suggest some good alternatives that allow for cool animations without needing to code. Thanks in advance!

Have you thought about using AI to help? You could take a screenshot of a site you like, upload it to something like Gemini 2.5 or GPT 4.1, and guide the AI to create that type of site. It can really streamline the process if you want to customize your HTML/CSS/JS afterwards. Good luck!

Thanks for the suggestion! I'm looking for something easy to edit though, and I’ve found AI tools can introduce errors after some tweaks.

Honestly, you might find it easier to just learn some basic coding. It can really speed things up if you're looking for custom animations. Ever wonder why tools like Framer are so popular? They offer a lot of flexibility that no-code solutions often lack.

I get that, but I'm curious why no-code tools like Framer attract so many users if coding is the way to go.
