Looking for Alternatives to Microsoft Teams Rooms

We've been using Microsoft Teams Rooms on unsupported whitebox setups, but recently they've all needed updates, and now we can't log in anymore. I've considered Conferfly as an alternative, but it only supports one display, and we need dual screens (a touchscreen for managing the room and a larger screen for the meeting). Are there any other solutions you can suggest that support one or two displays? Or do we need to invest in new hardware or switch to a different platform like Zoom?

If you're open to other hardware, consider using supported devices. There are plenty of manufacturers that create compatible equipment.

I managed around 50-100 Teams Room devices without any login issues. Instead of pointing fingers at the platform, it might be a good idea to check the sign-in logs first. Managing conference room setups can indeed be tricky, but the Teams Room platform generally runs well.

I just rebooted everything, and there are no error logs showing up.

I've had clients use Neat Room Equipment with Microsoft Teams Rooms, and they seem really pleased with it. Zoom Rooms does offer more features, but if your company isn't ready to switch, there are still good options out there. Just a tip—don't buy directly; I can help get you a better quote.

We use Logitech kits with support for Teams Rooms. They have solutions for both smaller and larger rooms that support dual displays. The larger kits include a touchscreen controller for joining meetings, plus an HDMI connection for laptops. They’re not the most affordable, but they work really well and integrate smoothly with Teams, allowing for remote updates and diagnostics.

We’ve had good success using Polycom with Teams Rooms. They also support Zoom meetings, although with fewer features.

It sounds like your login issue might be related to the recent updates. Here’s a link that might help you with that issue: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/rooms/android-migration-guide
