Hey everyone! We're in the process of switching away from our Veeam backup solution because we've been unhappy with their new licensing policy. I'm on the hunt for a user-friendly backup solution that won't break the bank. Any recommendations? I'd really appreciate your thoughts!

What’s this new licensing policy you keep mentioning? I'm out of the loop!
Acronis and Nakivo are both worth looking into. They have strong features and are pretty user-friendly. Just keep in mind that the best solution really hinges on your specific requirements.
It's super common for folks to label something as too pricey without doing the homework first. Make sure you explore all options!
Before you dive into a new solution, maybe consider doing a cost analysis? Sometimes moving from one platform to another can end up costing more in the long run. Just a thought!
Your best bet really depends on your specific setup, backup policies, and how much capacity you need. Check out the Gartner quadrant for enterprise backup solutions and see what fits.
Just a heads up, I really dislike Carbonite. It's slow and the web GUI is awful—I wouldn't recommend it!
You should definitely check out Rubrik! Had a backup engineer rave about it, sounds promising!
What kind of infrastructure are you backing up? A bit more info might help in recommending the best fit for you!
Have you considered a VCSP license through a partner? It could be a cheaper alternative!
Hornetsecurity's VM backup is pretty solid if you're looking for something reliable.
I’m curious—what new licensing policy are you referring to? I might have missed that one!
I’ve checked out Hycu before, and while it was decent, I'm getting frustrated with the 'contact us for a quote' nonsense. I’m considering Nakivo next because I love their per workload pricing—it’s really straightforward!
I remember Acronis being pretty bad years ago, not sure how they are doing now though.
