Looking for Budget-Friendly Suggestions for My New PC Build

Hey everyone! I'm looking to build a new PC to replace my old setup which I've been using for five years. My current rig, which I built for about $1000-1100, is no longer able to upgrade to Windows 11, which has prompted me to look for something new. I primarily use my PC for gaming, especially with some new titles coming out soon.

Here's my current build plan for a new PC which totals around $1270:
- **CPU:** AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D 4.2 GHz 8-Core
- **CPU Cooler:** Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 SE
- **Motherboard:** Gigabyte B650 AORUS ELITE AX
- **Memory:** Corsair Vengeance RGB 32 GB DDR5
- **Storage:** SanDisk Extreme 1 TB NVME SSD
- **Video Card:** Gigabyte GAMING OC Radeon RX 9060 XT
- **Power Supply:** MSI MAG A850GL 850 W

I'm hoping to cut down the price to around $1050-$1100 if possible. I don't mind reusing parts like my existing case since it's the same ATX mid-size. Any suggestions on how I can save some cash without sacrificing too much performance? Thanks for your help!

Check out my list here: [My Budget Build](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/P3QKmC). This brings the price down to around $1000. It sacrifices some CPU power, but with the GPU you're considering, you probably won't notice much of a difference. If you have a Microcenter nearby, they might have a good deal on a 7600X3D which is a nice alternative for a bit more.

I’m in a similar boat and need a build mainly for Paradox games. Any thoughts on a good single-threaded CPU to pair with a setup like this?

You could definitely stick with your current CPU since the Ryzen 3600 supports Windows 11 if you enable secure boot. For your new build, consider downgrading the motherboard and opting for a more budget-friendly storage option. A 750W power supply is more than enough for your needs too! If you're open to it, a Ryzen 5700X3D paired with a 9070XT could also save you a bit while still providing solid performance.
