I'm about to build my very first PC and would love some feedback on the parts I've chosen. My main use will be gaming, but I also need it for some schoolwork. I don't play too many modern AAA titles; the latest game I've played is Cyberpunk, and most of my gaming is with older or indie games.
I've got a parts list I'm working with, aiming for a cute aesthetic while keeping the setup solid. My budget is under $2000, not including the keyboard, headset, or other accessories.
Also, if anyone has suggestions for a good desk under $150, that would be awesome!

Your parts list looks pretty good overall, but I would definitely take a closer look at that GPU. It's quite outdated and wasn't great even when it was first released. Are you planning to buy that new, or do you already own it?
I was considering buying it new. Do you have any alternative suggestions? I'd like to keep the GPU under $450 if possible.

For that budget, I'd recommend looking into something like the NVIDIA RTX 3060 or AMD Radeon RX 6600. They offer much better performance for gaming than that old GPU.
