Looking for Feedback on My New Gaming PC Build

I'm planning to build a new computer because my old one isn't running games well anymore, and I'm considering making a significant investment. I want to make sure I'm making the right choices with my components. Here's the build I have so far: [PCPartPicker List](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/vGPf3w). What do you think? Should I change anything?

Your build looks solid overall! If you're aiming for top performance, some users might suggest opting for faster RAM, like CL30, if you can fit it in your budget. Also, consider the 7800X3D as a slightly cheaper alternative for the CPU if you're looking to save a bit. Otherwise, you're on the right track.

Interesting thoughts on that! I mean, with the 9800X3D and RTX 5070 Ti, this build is definitely more capable than what I would call 'lower midrange.' What would an 'upper midrange' look like to you? I'd love to hear those thoughts!

That SSD is on the pricey side—there are cheaper Gen 5 options available that would still work great for gaming. You could also snag a 2TB SN5000 for around $124, saving you some cash without compromising performance. Everything else seems pretty well chosen!

It seems like you're aiming for a big investment, but it looks like a lower mid-range setup to me right now. If you’re spending a lot, make sure you’ll be taking full advantage of those high-end components. If you just want a good mid-budget system, you might reconsider the costs involved.

I agree about the price comparison with prebuilt systems. Your custom build may be around $500 more than a prebuilt option, but it seems you'd get better parts for cooling and customization. Just something to consider!
