I'm trying to build a gaming PC and asked a store for part recommendations with a budget of $1600. Here's the list they gave me: Montech SKY TWO case, MSI MAG X870E TOMAHAWK WIFI motherboard, AMD RYZEN R7 7700 CPU, MAG CORE LIQUID E360 cooler, XPG LANCER D5-5600 RAM (16GB x2) or T-FORCE D5-6000 (16GB x2), MSI GAMING GEFORCE RTX 5060Ti 16G Trio OC graphics card, and a Corsair 850x power supply. Would you guys think this setup is good? Additionally, I want to reduce the overall cost to around $1400 if possible, but I'm unsure what parts to change. Any suggestions?

Honestly, I think most of the parts could be swapped out for something better suited to save you money. That X870 motherboard is overkill for the 7700 CPU since it's not top-tier, and the 360mm liquid cooler is pricey when a good air cooler would do just fine. Plus, the 850W PSU seems a bit unnecessary. Maybe consider swapping the 7700 for a 9600x; it’ll give you similar gaming performance but at a lower cost. This parts list might fit your budget of $1400 better: [link]. It might not be the absolute best for value, but it has a better GPU too.
I actually have a 2TB M.2 SSD from my old laptop, so I’m planning on using that for storage and adding a 500GB SSD for the system. Does that sound good? Thanks for the suggestions!
