I'm in the process of upgrading my PC using PCPartPicker and I'd love to get some feedback on the parts I've selected. Here's a breakdown of what I'm planning to get:
- **CPU**: AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D 4.7 GHz 8-Core Processor
- **CPU Cooler**: Corsair NAUTILUS 360 RS ARGB Liquid Cooler
- **Motherboard**: Asus TUF GAMING B850-PLUS WIFI
- **Memory**: G.Skill Flare X5 64 GB DDR5-6000 (2 x 32 GB)
- **Storage**: Crucial P3 Plus 2 TB SSD
- **Video Card**: MSI VENTUS 3X OC GeForce RTX 4060 Ti (already own this)
- **Case**: NZXT H9 Flow ATX Mid Tower
- **Power Supply**: Corsair RM850x (already have this)
I'm upgrading the motherboard and RAM since my old RAM is incompatible, and I'm also replacing the case. I already have two 1TB SSDs and a 4TB HDD, but I plan to replace one of the 1TB SSDs. Any recommendations on my build?
Here's the total cost: $1436.76.

I'd recommend running two sticks of RAM instead of four. Ryzen doesn't handle 4 sticks well, so just go for a 2x32GB setup if you need that much. Also, 8GB graphics cards are becoming outdated fast. Consider upgrading to something like the 5070 or 5070Ti in the future since many games are starting to require more than 8GB of VRAM for optimal performance. Everything else looks solid, though! Nice build.
What are your current specs? That could help in giving better advice for your upgrade.
Sorry for the delay! Here are my current specs: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/D2ymTM. I accidentally listed the wrong video card and updated it.
Just a heads-up to check your power supply first. Make sure it's in good condition so you don't run into any issues with your upgrade, lol!
No worries, the PSU is fine as it was installed recently—just a bit of a cringe comment.
Be cautious about the Crucial P3 Plus SSD; it uses QLC flash which has lower durability. It tends to slow down noticeably after some years. Consider a drive with TLC flash like the Kioxia Exceria Plus G3 or WD Blue for better longevity and performance.

Thanks for the tip! Just realized I selected the wrong card; it's actually a 16GB one. I'll also take your advice and switch to a 2x32GB RAM setup.
