Hey everyone! I just graduated and I'm in the midst of putting together my personal portfolio for job applications. I'm reaching out for some feedback on what I've got so far because I'm feeling a bit unsure about it. My web development skills aren't quite where I want them to be, especially when working on my own projects. Any insights you have would be super helpful. Thanks a bunch!

I think the minimalistic design is a good approach, but the rocket animation at the start feels a bit too niche. It might distract from the overall message. Plus, your site does lag a lot—especially with the typewriter text effect. If you're showing this to employers, they should get the key info right away without any lag.
I wasn't a huge fan of the user interface either, but I have to say your resume and projects are really impressive, especially for a recent grad! Keep it up!
Honestly, some of your images didn't even load for me and that was frustrating. If you're showcasing your work, make sure everything is accessible right away.
Your images are massive, and that's probably why your site is loading so slowly. Seriously, a single 35MB image? Optimize those sizes! Otherwise, it's hard to even see half your content because of the lag.
OMG, you’re totally right. I overlooked that when building it. I’ll definitely work on optimizing those images!

That’s a fair point about the rocket! I also noticed my images seem to slow things down. Thanks for the heads up!
