Looking for GPU and Monitor Upgrade Advice

Hey everyone! I'm looking to upgrade my PC starting with the GPU since my current one, a 1660 Super, just isn't cutting it for playing current games. Here are my specs:
- CPU: 7500F
- GPU: 1660 Super
- RAM: 16GB DDR5

I mainly play FPS games like Valorant, but I've recently gotten into some AAA titles, and the gameplay experience hasn't been great. I'd like to upgrade to either a 9060 XT or a 5070, and I aim to game at 1440p. I'm also thinking about getting an OLED monitor with a high refresh rate for better performance in Valorant. Any suggestions for which GPU to choose and what monitor to get? Thanks!

It sounds like a GPU upgrade is definitely needed since the 1660 Super is quite outdated. Between the 9060 XT and the 5070, you might want to consider the 5070 if you can stretch your budget. It generally offers better performance, especially for AAA games at higher resolutions. Just make sure to check if your power supply can handle the new GPU, as it might need an upgrade too!

Totally agree! The 5070 is a solid choice, but make sure you weigh the performance against the price difference. It might be worth it in the long run.

Your CPU is decent, but if you’re planning to upgrade it down the line, that’s smart. About the RAM, think about getting a 2x16GB kit if you can. Prices are a bit high, but it's worth it for better performance in general. Good luck with your upgrades!

I heard that RAM prices are crazy right now! It might be good to keep an eye on deals or sales for that.
