Looking for GPU Recommendations for My New Workstation Build

I finally decided to build a new desktop after my old one gave up the ghost! I'm focusing on creating a workstation for video editing with programs like Premiere and DaVinci, but I still want to enjoy gaming occasionally. Here's what I have so far:

- **CPU:** AMD Ryzen 7 9700x
- **Motherboard:** MSI MAG B850 TOMAHAWK MAX WIFI ATX AM5
- **Memory:** 32GB Corsair Vengeance
- **Storage:** Crucial 3P Plus 2TB
- **Monitor:** Asus 1080p monitor (not sure which model, had it for a while)

I'm currently considering the 5070 and 5060 Ti, or even the 3080, aiming for a GPU price around $400 or less. Any suggestions or advice on the build would be greatly appreciated!

If your main focus is work, you might get by with a 5060 Ti within your budget. Your CPU choice is solid! Also, ensure your RAM is 6000 CL30 for optimal performance. By the way, do you need any recommendations for other parts?

Yep, the RAM is already sorted out! I'm still browsing for the other components, so any recommendations would be awesome!

Honestly, you have a pretty decent setup. You could also look at Intel graphics cards; I've heard they perform decently for workloads and can handle gaming too!

Just a heads up, the Crucial P3 Plus uses QLC flash. It can start slowing down after a few years. You might want to consider a TLC drive instead, like the Kioxia Exceria Plus G3 or the WD Blue series for better durability and speed.

Have you thought about the RX 9070 non-XT? It's generally better than the 5070 for performance! Just a suggestion though if you can stretch your budget a bit.

Thanks for the tip! The 9070 is a bit above my budget right now, but I’ll keep an eye out for any discounts as I get closer to finalizing my build.
