I'm trying to put together my first PC and it's a bit overwhelming. I've been looking at PC Part Picker, but I could really use some straightforward advice or suggestions for a build that stays under £1,000. I'm hoping to set it up for work tasks, but gaming is also a big part of the plan. I want to be able to run most games smoothly, ideally at a resolution of 1920p or higher. I already have a monitor and all the peripherals, so the budget is just for the PC itself. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Before diving into the parts, I have a couple of questions. What resolution are you aiming for while gaming, and what specific games or applications do you plan to use? Also, does your £1,000 budget cover peripherals or just the PC itself?
Here's a link to my current build on PC Part Picker, though I still need to add a graphics card. I’m aiming for an Nvidia 5060. This setup should handle most games smoothly without being on max settings, and I think it fits well within your budget! https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/ptwZ8Z

I have all the peripherals sorted, so it’s just the PC components I’m focusing on. Thanks for sharing your build!
