Looking for Help with Secure Boot and UEFI – Is Remote Access Safe?

I'm trying to enable secure boot and UEFI on my computer, but it's proving to be quite complicated, especially because I'm not very tech-savvy. I'm looking for a reliable service where someone can remotely access my PC to help me complete this task safely. Is this something that's commonly offered, and is it even safe to allow someone to do this?

I wouldn't risk enabling secure boot via remote access since it can lead to serious issues, like bricking your computer. It's much safer to find someone local and ask around for trusted tech support. Many people, including myself, often charge reasonably for home visits.

Always check the manual for your specific computer or motherboard. It usually has the best instructions on how to adjust the BIOS settings manually.

Be careful about letting random people on the internet access your PC. It's usually not safe to allow remote access for tasks like this. You could end up compromising your system. Check out this video that walks you through the process instead: [Enable Secure Boot Vid](https://youtu.be/Hxga_5RBB2w?si=i0cxEcCh482EUXDC) as you try to do it yourself.

If you have a business-grade DELL computer, you can enable secure boot remotely using tools like Command | Configure. Just configure your BIOS/UEFI settings, export them as an executable, and run it on the remote machine. It's a straightforward solution for DELLs!
