I'm running Netrunner 25 (Shockworm) with the 6.1.0 kernel and KDE Plasma 5.27.5 on my HP 15 notebook, which has an AMD Ryzen 7 7730U CPU and Wi-Fi 6 support. Everything else works smoothly, but I can't seem to scan for available Wi-Fi networks or find a connection button. For now, I've been sharing my phone's internet via Bluetooth. Is there a compatibility issue with Netrunner and my hardware, or is there a way to troubleshoot this? If needed, could you recommend another distribution with a similar desktop experience that might work better for my device? Thanks in advance!

Hey! There are a few things to check. You might be missing the correct Wi-Fi driver; newer Wi-Fi adapters, especially Wi-Fi 6, may need a more updated kernel. Also, your Wi-Fi card could require specific firmware that might not be included with your distribution. Sometimes, it’s just a bug with the NetworkManager configuration as well. Also, do check if there’s any physical Wi-Fi kill switch on your laptop that could be disabling the Wi-Fi. It’s less common these days but still worth a look!

I appreciate your suggestions! It turns out I had an outdated kernel for my Wi-Fi adapter. Switching to EndeavourOS fixed everything.
