Looking for Hosting Alternatives After Azure Credits Expired

Hey everyone! My Azure for Startups credits expired today, and I still have over $10,000 left from the initial $25,000 they offered. Unfortunately, Azure won't extend my credit even though I need at least another 4-6 months of support before I can raise some funds. Paying $3,000 a month is a bit much for me right now. It's frustrating that they don't offer extensions unless you're funded by one of their partners. Does anyone have any alternative hosting suggestions?

If you're considering cloud options, AWS is a solid choice. However, if affordability is your main concern, look into shared hosting providers like Asphostportal. They have a great team and their prices are reasonable. It might help you manage your budget better.

Yeah, AWS did give me $5,000 in credit, but moving everything over from Azure just doesn't seem worth it now. I'm really stuck with this expired credit and it’s frustrating.

You might want to check out AWS or Oracle. Oracle is currently one of the cheapest options out there. It could be a good idea to switch some of your servers over to Oracle while keeping your production on Azure. It minimizes risks and can help you save costs.

That's true! Even though Oracle doesn't have startup credits, their rates are pretty competitive, which can save you quite a bit in the long run. Thanks for the suggestion!

You could also try reaching out to Microsoft directly or connect with someone who might be able to help you get an extension.
