Hey everyone! I find that Jira can be a bit much for smaller IT teams looking to manage requests, approvals, and daily workflows without all the extra clutter. I'm curious about what tools you're using that fit better with day-to-day operations. I've heard people mentioning Foqal; does anyone have experience with it?

You might consider using Microsoft Planner if you're already on M365, as it integrates well with Forms and Power Automate for workflow management.
Jira rarely makes sense as a ticketing system. I've been trying to replace it lately and I'm looking at Halo and Vivantio for better options.
For what it's worth, I did some migrations to Halo, and while it’s great when set up right, I'd recommend getting help from a pro; it can be tricky!
If simplicity is key, Freshdesk is a solid helpdesk system, though it can get pricey. Just beware of Genuity—I had issues with them logging in without notice and closing tickets.
For small organizations, I've found OS Ticket works excellently up to around 250 staff. It’s easy to set up and manage once you're up and running.

Totally agree! Jira's only praised because it's widely used, but smaller teams need simpler solutions.
