I'm thinking about making the switch to Linux and would love some distro recommendations. I'm particularly interested in options that are good for gaming, browsing, and offer customization features. Any suggestions?

Pop!_OS is a solid choice! It's built for gaming and has great support for NVIDIA drivers, which can make a big difference in performance.
You should check out Bazzite and Nobara if you're really into gaming. Just keep in mind what games you're planning to play, especially if they have anti-cheat systems. ProtonDB and AreWeAntiCheatYet are super useful for this info!
Bazzite looks promising! I've heard good things about its gaming performance.
If you have time, try using Hyper-V to run some virtual machines and compare Zorin, Mint, and Ubuntu. Personally, Zorin OS is my favorite for its ease of use, especially if you're transitioning from Windows. It feels quite familiar!
I appreciate the tip on virtual machines! That way, I can try a few without committing right away.
Zorin is indeed user-friendly! I enjoyed my experience with it as a beginner.
Yeah, those are great resources! Always good to research beforehand.
