Looking for Linux Distros with Tiling Window Managers

Hey everyone! I've been really interested in trying out tiling window managers because I love their aesthetic, but I'm hesitant to dive into the whole Arch and Hyprland installation process since I might not like it after all that work. Are there any Linux distributions that come pre-loaded with tiling window managers? I'm also considering using Fedora with the PaperWM extension for GNOME, but I'd love to hear your recommendations!

For the best out-of-the-box experience, Gnome with PaperWM is really impressive. If you're looking for low setup effort, Niri WM could also be a great find. You just select your app launcher and terminal, and you're good to go!

Pop!_OS is working on a tiling feature in their Cosmic desktop environment, which is in alpha right now. Also, Manjaro includes i3 if that's what you're interested in!

If you want to stick with a community option, the Manjaro image with i3 is a solid choice—definitely worth a look!

Cachyos is a great option too! It lets you select a tiling WM during installation, and you'll get it pre-configured. Options like Cosmic, Hyprland, i3, and Sway are available there.

There are quite a few distributions that include tiling window managers right out of the box! You might want to check out Fedora Sway, Manjaro with i3, or Garuda featuring Hyprland. They make it much easier to get started without spending all day setting things up.
