I'm currently using a Gigabyte B660 DS3H AC DDR4 motherboard and I'm planning to upgrade my CPU to an i7-12700KF or something better. However, I've read that my current motherboard won't support overclocking, which is something I'd like to do. I also want to ensure that my existing parts remain compatible. Any recommendations on a better motherboard?

You can definitely upgrade to the i7-12700KF with your current setup, but keep in mind that you won't be able to overclock it with your B660 board. If you're looking for a motherboard that supports overclocking, you might want to consider something like the Z690 or Z790 chipset. Those boards are designed for overclocking and should be compatible with your components. Plus, they come with extra features that can enhance your overall performance!

Yeah, the Z690 and Z790 motherboards are great picks for overclocking! Just make sure to check for compatibility with your existing RAM and GPU. Also, some of them have better VRMs, which can be really helpful if you plan to push the CPU a bit. It's definitely worth the investment if you want to get the most out of your i7-12700KF!
